"Ich hatte heute das Lunch-Buffet im Tokyo Running Sushi & Grill. Als wir kamen, waren wir die einzigen Gäste. Obwohl ich zuerst Zweifel hatte, war ich völlig enttäuscht. Das Sushi schmeckte ausgezeichnet und der Koch füllte es immer wieder mit frischen und verschiedenen Sushi. Sie boten auch heiße Sushi an.

Today we (me and mine 3 years old daughter) had the lunch buffet. When we came in were the only customers. The sushi was already on the band. I had mine doubts but I was totally wrong. The sushi tasted good and the cook filled it up with fresh and different kind and warm sushi. They had even fried sushi.

I suppose it's not bad for "all you can eat" type of sushi restaurant. It's more profitable to pay 20EUR and eat as much as you'd like compared to simply taking stuff from the most expensive plates (because as you can see from the photos, you'd need quite a lot to get sated). As for the taste, it was a bit bland and the fish was quite warm. There isn't much fish you can choose from either. If you're looking for fresh and cool sushi you should go somewhere else. It definitely isn't bad per se, but I've had better.

One star because I cannot put less. Decided with my partner to have a sushi night and got greeted with a very nice ‘cash or card?’ before anything else. Ordered Kimchi and the Toyota menu: small and tasteless (see pictures), the Kimchi quantity was not very generous to say the least, so we asked politely for a little extra, the reply was: ‘it’s 2,50€, you get what you pay for!’ Then before leaving we wanted to let the owner know we hadn’t been impressed by the service compared to the prices. The only excuse he could find was that all the ingredients, the cucumbers in particular, were very expensive. Prices are one thing, customer service is another. If you’re in for the former, have a blast, if you’re in for the latter, walk away. We’re not setting foot again in this place.

I am going there very often. Maybe the most tasty and fresh sushi I have ever eaten. Love the owner , always treats me with utmost respect. Will not stop going no matter what ;)

Perhaps just dumb luck, but the worst nigiri sushi with artificially colored horseradish imposter Wasabi. The Gari is also dysfunctional. Sorry, but aschaffenburg has several great sushi bars. This one is open late for a reason.
